The v-e-t warned us that fleas were a real problem in our parts but his warnings went unheeded. It was assumed that indoor mancats would be safe. The beans got lax with the treatments and what do you know...
someone's got FLEAS!
(Yea, it's Rufus.) Any of you lovely readers have any good remedies to get rid of these fleas? We would love to hear them!
There some homeopathic remedies that are not good to try. If you want to try some homeopathic things, ask some other kitty people. The best way is to go to the VET, or perhaps, just send your people;and, they can get the medicine. Then, when your getting a snack, a little medicine on the neck. That's all.

Get to the vet and do what he or she says. My son and his wife thought they could take care of the matter by themselves. Over 200.00 later buying this and using that, they went to the vet and were done with the fleas in less than a week.
ReplyDeleteOh, no!!! I'm so sorry Rufus. I do not know the cure. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteWe're so sorry, Rufus! We're indoor kitties too, and your post reminded our mom that she better put some Revolution on us kitties. (Yep, our mom sometimes gets lax with our treatments too.) We like Revolution which we get from our vet.
ReplyDeleteDouble, oh no! Mummy uses Revolution on me too. I get an allergic reaction to fleabites.
ReplyDeleteWe've been lucky on the flea front this summer. In the past-Tommy gave us baths with Dawn--we screamed alot. And on the carpet she sprinkled Borox and vacummed it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

We are so sorry about the bad fleas!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Fleas are definitely not fun! We hope those nasty creatures are gone soon
ReplyDeletepoor rufus!
ReplyDeleteYou need Revolution!
ReplyDeleteThe vet should be able to take care of this right away. My grandcats have gotten a treatment at the vet's before and it's a one shot deal that kills the fleas and keeps them away.
ReplyDeleteYup, Revolution...it'll kill dem all!
ReplyDeleteNasty. Negligent behavior on your humans behalf. Can you sue!?
